Vehicle Flips on Interstate 95 Near Aberdeen: Officials
Traffic in Harford County was snarled near MD 22 on Thursday after a vehicle overturned on I-95 north.
Harford County, MD — An overturned vehicle on Interstate 95 north near the exit for Aberdeen caused hours of delays and miles of backups Thursday in Harford County.
The crash happened on I-95 north before the exit for MD 22 around 10:30 a.m.; and lanes were not clear until approximately 2:30 p.m., according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.
At least one person was trapped and required rescue, according to the Susquehanna Hose Company, which assisted personnel from the Aberdeen Fire Department in the operation.

Traffic was briefly brought to a standstill as a medevac responded to the scene after 11 a.m., state transportation authorities reported.
By noon, officials said there was an approximately 5-mile backup. Two lanes were closed on I-95 north and one lane was blocked on I-95 south in the area of MD 22 for cleanup after the single-vehicle crash.

By 1:20 p.m., southbound lanes on I-95 had reopened in the area; and by 2:30 p.m., officials said that all lanes were open but delays remained.
