Wanda L. Schaffer of Havre de Grace, 82

Wanda L. Schaffer of Havre de Grace passed away at home on July 8, 2015. She was 82. She was the loving wife of 63 years to John M. Schaffer Sr.

Mrs. Schaffer was born in Havre de Grace to the late John M. and Emma (Baldwin) Way. She was the devoted mother of John M. Schaffer Jr. and Michael W. Schaffer. She was the grandmother to Tracy Wilkinson and Caleb Schaffer. She was the adoring great-grandmother of Mycah, Maddie and Mollie Wilkinson. Mrs. Schaffer was predeceased by her siblings; John M. Way, Jr., Verna M. Creswell and Beverly Clark.

Mrs. Schaffer loved growing flowers, cooking, painting art, embroidery, cross stitching and quilting. She was well loved and was passionate about her grandchildren. She loved and adored her dog “Max”.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 S. Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD 21078, where the funeral will be held at noon.

Officiating will be Pastor Ron Tabor.

Interment will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen, MD
