Water Service Disruption In Havre de Grace Possible

Havre de Grace residents may notice a change in their water pressure Thursday night and Friday morning, city officials advise.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Residents in the city of Havre de Grace may experience some changes in their water pressure Thursday night. City officials issued a robocall alerting citizens that crews will be repairing a water valve in the plant that may impact water service.

Repairing the valve is estimated to take approximately four or five hours, but the water pressure change could last a few hours longer.

The repairs will begin at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, according to the city of Havre de Grace.

"During this repair, you may experience a brief reduction in water pressure," officials said. "This is only temporary. Water service will be back to normal by 3 to 4 a.m."
