HdG Carnival Opens in Tydings Park
The fair will be in Havre de Grace for the Fourth of July week.
If you're looking for a new way to see Havre de Grace, your chance is waiting by the City Yacht Basin.
The Independence Day carnival opened in town Tuesday evening, with rides like the Zipper and a Ferris wheel providing sweeping views of the Susquehanna.

Fairgoers can enjoy the event from Tuesday, July 2, through Saturday, July 6. The carnival is open from 6 to 10:30 p.m., Tuesday to Friday; and 4 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, at Tydings Park (Commerce and S. Washington streets) in Havre de Grace.
Wristbands for unlimited rides are $24 Tuesday through Friday and $25 for Saturday. Otherwise, tickets are $1.50 each. A 30-ticket sheet is $35 and a 50-ticket sheet is $55.
In addition to rides, games and food vendors are sprinkled around Tydings Park.
