Havre de Grace Seafood Festival Amplifies Entertainment Offerings

The Oak Ridge Boys is one of several musical acts booked for the 2013 event at Tydings Park.

When the Havre de Grace Seafood Festival fans out across Tydings Park this weekend, 50 hours of music are on tap, organizers say.

"New at the festival this year is an additional stage which will feature local and regional acoustic music," Lori and Chuck Maslin, who run the festival, told Patch.

"Between the two stages, we will have 50 hours of free music," the Maslins added.

Headliner the Oak Ridge Boys will perform at 6:30 p.m. Friday at cost; tickets start at $35 and are available here. Otherwise, the festival is free.

The Oak Ridge Boys will be performing country, gospel and patriotic music, according to CecilDaily.com, which reported the concert would be family friendly.

Organizers said the concert would be set up in the "swale" area of the park.

The Havre de Grace Seafood Festival runs from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday in Tydings Park.
