Wintry Mix Expected in Havre de Grace Overnight: Weather Service

Don’t let the temperatures fool you—while the high in Havre de Grace on Monday is in the low 60s, rain and sleet are likely Monday evening followed by snow Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

There’s a 20 percent chance of showers in Havre de Grace after 2 p.m. on Monday, the weather service reports, and a 60 percent chance of rain and sleet overnight. The low Monday night is 33 degrees.

Sleet may mix with snow Tuesday morning, with a 90 percent chance of snow and sleet before 1 p.m., according to the Havre de Grace forecast.

The cold front moving through northern Baltimore suburbs Monday night will continue to pass through the area with possible accumulation on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service, which put Harford, Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Prince George’s counties on notice.

In Havre de Grace, snow and sleet are expected to be minimal, with accumulations less than half an inch projected, according to the weather service. Tuesday’s temps should be in the upper 30s in Havre de Grace.
