A pit bull puppy found inside a plastic tote bag in Essex has been adopted.
On Jan. 6, Mars was discovered lying in a pool of his own urine and was shivering from the cold, according to a news release from the He was rescued on Orems Road by an area resident.
The puppy was taken to the to recover, and was adopted this week, said Jennifer Kwiterovici, a veterinary technician at the shelter.
