• Second Annual Recycling in Action Month Increases Reach and Boosts Public Confidence in Plastics Recycling (wasteadvantagemag.com) — Cockeysville's Baltimore County recycling facility took part in a continent-wide "Recycling in Action" month, opening its doors so visitors could see how plastics and other recyclables are sorted and turned into new products. Organizers say tours like these, held at 41 facilities across North America, significantly boosted visitors' confidence that what they put in the bin is actually recycled.
