• MD Begins Tapping Susquehanna River For Water Amid Persisting Drought (patch.com) — Cockeysville residents are now receiving a blend of Susquehanna River and Loch Raven reservoir water because of ongoing drought and low reservoir levels, which may slightly change taste, odor, or color but remains safe. The shift, treated at the Montebello plant, affects much of Baltimore County and City, and officials are urging continued water conservation and quick reporting of leaks or main breaks.
