Be on the rewarding front lines of animal rescue! The Dog Adoption Coordinator will manage the dog adoption process by bringing dogs into rescue, working with the adoption committee to review adoption applications, assisting volunteers who are fostering rescue dogs, communicating with potential adopters, completing paperwork for medical visits and the adoption contract. Most of the tasks will be done via email and telephone.
Qualifications for this position include previous experience working with animals in a rescue or shelter environment, dog temperament testing, having in-depth knowledge of positive reinforcement dog training techniques, and basic veterinary care.
