St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Aberdeen is thrilled to
announce a Family Summer Concert on August 10th starting at 7:00pm featuring the world renowned singer/songwriter, Charlie Zahm. Charlie is one of the most popular soloists at Celtic music festivals, Maritime and Early Americana music events anywhere east of the Mississippi. With a baritone voice some have described as “coming along once in a generation”, Charlie has become
one of the most successful performers on the Celtic festival circuit; weaving magical moments of Scottish and Irish history for the listener and viewer, with a passion for the performance and a chosen repertoire pleasing to all members of the family. A master of the guitar as well, Charlie brings an authentic love and respect for the music he sings; with dashes of humor and a light in his eyes, he will draw you into the stories of his songs! Charlie will be
accompanied by “Fiddler” Tad Marks, who has toured extensively across the U.S. and Europe with top-named groups and is considered one of the finest fiddlers on the East Coast. Also playing will be one of the finest guitarists you will ever hear, Steve Hobson. Steve’s’ whit, charm and incredibly masterful talent of the guitar will simply astound you. He adds so much to any event. Charlie currently has over 25 CD’s on the market and has several DVD’s as well. Tad has also release several CD’s and all will be available for purchase at the Concert. Please come out to hear some of the finest entertainment in the Harford County area this season. There will also be a “meet and greet” during the intermission and breifly following the concert.
