Apple Turns 30. Are You A Mac Or A PC?

When asked to choose between a Mac or a PC, Mary Beth Watts Frain responded on Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch’s Facebook page: “Oh my .. You know how to start a fight!”

“I'm a Mac head,” Frain wrote. “Works beautifully ... No virus issues (major) to speak of. I have iPad and iPhone which sync perfectly with my computer from 2007 and works like new.”

On the Columbia Patch Facebook page, the consensus was also for Mac. Rich Snyder said, “after doing IT all day, I enjoy not having to deal with it at home. Higher initial cost but I get 5+ years out of my MacBooks.”

Christine Schmidt Fontana from Ellicott City Patch also voted for Mac as did Donik Lamb from Catonsville Patch.

On the Owings Mills-Reisterstown Patch Facebook page, Angie Warner Richardson said “MAC all the way!!! Once you try MAC, you won’t go back.”

Carole Bognanni countered by saying “Not a mac fan...I repair computers...do not like their OS. If I had my choice, I would stick with Win98.”

And Neil Shochet “prefers web TV.”
