Apple Turns 30. Are You A Mac Or A PC?

Which computer operating system do you prefer? Patch readers weigh in on Facebook.

When asked to choose between a Mac or a PC, Mary Beth Watts Frain responded on Edgewater-Davidsonville Patchโ€™s Facebook page: โ€œOh my .. You know how to start a fight!โ€

โ€œI'm a Mac head,โ€ Frain wrote. โ€œWorks beautifully ... No virus issues (major) to speak of. I have iPad and iPhone which sync perfectly with my computer from 2007 and works like new.โ€

On the Columbia Patch Facebook page, the consensus was also for Mac. Rich Snyder said, โ€œafter doing IT all day, I enjoy not having to deal with it at home. Higher initial cost but I get 5+ years out of my MacBooks.โ€

And Neil Shochet โ€œprefers web TV.โ€
