Baltimore County Offers Emergency Preparedness Program

The Neighbors Helping Neighbors program will start its next session on March 20 at the Cockeysville Volunteer Fire Company.

A training program for residents interested in learning about protecting themselves and others in emergency situations will start its next session on March 20.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors, sponsored by Baltimore County's Volunteer Center, will feature six training sessions teaching participants about fire safety, crime prevention, first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and more, according to a county news release. 

The sessions, which will end on April 24, are scheduled to run on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cockeysville Volunteer Fire Company, located at 11210 York Road.

The release also states that participants will receive certification in the American Heart Association's Heartsaver CPR/AED.
