In observance of the feast day of St Francis, the Blessing of the Animals will take place on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the 10:00am service inside the church. St. Francis is perhaps best known for his love of animals. This celebration reminds us that all of God’s creation is blessed including our pets. Bring your dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, fish, ferrets, lizards, etc., or pictures of your pet or ashes of your late pet for a St. Francis blessing. Please have your pet on a leash, in a pet carrier, cage or aquarium.
