California grows America's flowers

Did you know California grows 75% of all flowers grown in the U.S.? That definitely makes California, America's flower bucket. Here at Janda Florist, we love to support U.S. flower farmers. America gets over 80% of its flowers from overseas but supporting our country's market is important to us. We get over 50% of our flowers from California, flown in weekly, direct to us. That's just one of the many reasons our flowers last longer.

California grows all kinds of flowers too. From the playful & popular gerbera daisy to the classic gladiolus. Their roses are gorgeous as well. They grow varities not found by other vendors. Lush roses that open like they are fresh from the garden. And the foliage they grow, WOW! You know, most people don't take the timne to appreciate the greenery in their floral design but it can be quite striking on its own. For example, take California grown seeded eucalyptus. It has the most beautiful silvery green color and falls lushly out of vases. It can be dyed as well to create colorscapes especially for this time of year. Some foliage that comes in is even new to our designers. Exotic greens in all shapes in sizes fill out our arrangements to create a unique floral design. Our customers notice this difference.
