Prom’s Hottest Looks Have Started to Arrive!

I was planning to cover prom in a few weeks, but after seeing so many fantastic new styles and options around Towson Town Center, I think it’s time for me to start sharing some of the gorgeous dresses available for prom this year!

This season, retailers are doing more and more with sequins and color.  At Cache, Delia*s and BCBGMAXAZRIA, I spotted nearly as many bold colors as dresses! You can go for a gorgeous jewel hued dress, a pastel look or the classic little black dress. There seemed to be more long gowns but I was still able to uncover many cute, short designs too.  The trendy Hi-Lo hemline and single shoulder styles continue to be hot.

But the thing that really impressed me is many of the dresses I found are perfect for adults too!  Almost all of them were refined enough to be worn to weddings, formal parties and black-tie events this summer.  In fact, many of them are actually from the retailer’s “special occasion” collections and not specifically for the prom. So mom, you might find something PERFECT for yourself when you go shopping with your daughter!
