The Hottest Color of the Season has a VERY Unique Name!
As the Towson Town Center GURU, I always pay attention to changes in trends and style in the fashion world and we have certainly seen some big changes in the last few months!

Just like the leaves on the trees, the colors of the fall fashion season change in some beautiful ways. As the Towson Town Center GURU, I always pay attention to changes in trends and style in the fashion world and we have certainly seen some big changes in the last few months!
While we had super-bright colors like Tangerine Tango and neon in spring and summer, fall’s fashion colors are much cooler- just like the weather! One of the prettiest and widely used colors this season also has one of the most distinct names I’ve ever heard to describe a hue. They could have called it burgundy, merlot or maroon, but no, the decision was made to describe this particular shade of red as ox-blood! That’s right. Ox blood.
While it might have an unusual name, the color is being used everywhere these days. I’ve seen ox blood colored shoes, hats, gloves, jackets, skirts and more. And while it seems leather is getting most of the attention, I’ve found everything from cotton to synthetic blends getting the ox blood treatment. Simply put: it’s the hottest color of the season. Period! And for good reason, it’s gorgeous!
