Brigance Brigade Foundation Recognizes ALS Champion

The Brigance Brigade Foundation announced the winners of the organization's "ALS Champion Caregivers" campaign.

The Brigance Brigade Foundation, an organization that supports ALS patients and their families created by former NFL player O.J. Brigance and his wife Chanda, today announced the winners of the organization’s “ALS Champion Caregivers” campaign, which was held throughout the month of November in honor of National Caregiver’s Month. Donna McClain from New Haven (Ct.), Jennifer Lange from York (Pa.) and Debbie McCravy from Charleston (S.C.) were selected as “ALS Champion Caregivers” for their dedication and hard work as outstanding caregivers.

“Caregivers serve an invaluable role in the lives of those battling ALS, and through this campaign, we were hoping to honor them for all of their hard work and unwavering dedication,” said Chanda Brigance, Co-Founder of the Brigance Brigade Foundation. “Caregivers should be honored year-round, but we took this opportunity during National Caregivers Month to shine the spotlight on them. As a caregiver, I know the strength and energy it takes to fulfill this role and I would like to thank all caregivers for all they do each and every day.”

Throughout the month of November, the Brigance Brigade Foundation accepted caregiver submissions via the foundation’s Facebook page and three winners were selected by the Brigance Brigade to receive caregiver prize packs. The prize packs, delivered to the winners’ homes, contained Brigance Brigade gear, an Amazon Kindle, Target gift card, and 5 meals from Let’s Dish!, an innovative store where you can order family-friendly dishes to be frozen and cooked when needed. Let’s Dish! partnered with the foundation for this campaign and donated the meals to the winners.
