4 Monkton Homes Burglarized

Four Monkton residences were targeted by burglars on Friday during the daytime. 

In each case, the burglars checked to make sure that no one was inside the home, and then broke in through a window or rear door, according to an email message from Robert McGraw, lieutenant at the . From there, they opened the garage door, pulled their vehicle inside and closed the door before ransacking the homes. The vehicle was described as a four-door blue or gray Honda sedan. 

Police said a resident approached two suspects, identified as men in their 30s, and was told that they were lost and seeking directions. 

"If the vehicle or suspects are observed, please call 911 immediately to have a patrol car respond," McGraw wrote in the email. "If safely possible, please try an obtain a tag number."
