Cockeysville Native Receives College Scholarship
Lauren Dellman, a St. Mary's College of Maryland student, is the recipient of the Joseph and Lesley Urgo Endowed Scholarship.
A Cockeysville native was recently awarded the Joseph and Lesley Urgo Endowed Scholarship, which benefits students with financial needs at St. Mary's College of Maryland.
Lauren Dellman, who plans to graduate in 2013, is majoring in English and economics, serves as a residential life advisor and peer mentor and works as a tutor, according to a news release from the college. She hopes to pursue a career in economics.
Dellman is the first recipient of the scholarship, which was established in 2010 by the Urgo family.
