Environmentalist Author in Hunt Valley October 11

Author Carrie Russell will be visiting Greetings & Readings bookstore in Hunt Valley, MD to sign copies of her acclaimed novel, Drowning Cactus on Saturday, October 11, 2014 between one o’clock and two thirty.

Russell combines her interest in ecological issues and penchant for lively, witty writing in Drowning Cactus, which The Portland Book Review describes as, “starkly beautiful prose, detailing the relationships of damaged characters,” and Laura Van Den Berg, O. Henry award winning author of The Isle of Youth, calls, “a dangerous, smart, and stunning debut.”
