While you’re out piling your shopping cart with Christmas gifts, don’t forget about the people who won’t have anything under the tree this year, without your help. Look for an Angel Tree at Hunt Valley Towne Center from Nov. 25 to Dec. 17.
Just select a paper angel off the tree—each angel represents a local area child who has made a special request for holiday gifts. The angel includes the child’s first name, age, gender and requested gifts. Do what you can to fulfill your angel’s wishes, then bring the clothes and gifts back to the angel tree where you picked up the angel on or before Dec. 17.
Online shoppers can take advantage of virtual angels sponsored by The Avenue at White Marsh and JCPenney. For information, visit the virtual Angel Tree online at http://www.theavenueatwhitemarsh.com/angel_tree.php or http://angel.jcpenney.com/ and brighten the holidays for a child in need.
