The third Annual Hike the Park for Parkinson's will take place Saturday September 8, 2012 from 8am-Noon at Oregon Ridge Park. All proceeds from the Hike benefit Maryland's Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorder Center and Promises for Parkinson's Care Program. Hike Activities include: a children's area, breakfast for participants, prizes for most funds raised, DJ, warm-up exercises and much more. The Hike is approximately 2.5 miles long. A loop walk is also offered, which is .5 miles on a completely paved path. Over the last two years, the Hike has raised over $25,000 for Parkinson's disease research.
