Discuss how Frederick Olmsted and later Olmsted Brothers Landscape Architects profoundly reshaped the urban Maryland landscape. Discussion will include Olmsted projects planned in Maryland and showing of the film "The Olmsted Legacy". Instructor, Dr. Edward Orser is retired from UMBC and is president of Friends of Maryland's Olmsted Parks and Landscapes, Inc. Lunch follows lecture at the Milton Inn in Sparks, Md.
