Exxon Sees Small Increase in Business While BP Is Closed for Repairs

“I guess we’re the nearest right after [the BP station] so we’ve had some increase but not a lot,” said Raj Jaishi, manager of the Exxon station. “I’d say that it’s about a 5 to 10 percent increase.”

Wilmon Benson IV of Edina, MN, is accused of driving the car that crashed into the gas station. He was arrested April 14 and charged with two counts of second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and other traffic charges. Police said he had been speeding up York Road after trying to break into a Timonium bar.

Benson posted his $75,000 bail and awaits trial on Sept. 26.
