Fatal Crash Involving Dump Truck in Hunt Valley: Police

Authorities were investigating a fatal collision Monday night involving two vehicles, one of which was a dump truck, the Baltimore County Police Department reported.

First responders were dispatched to the 11000 block of McCormick Road in Hunt Valley for a crash at approximately 9:40 p.m. on Monday, the report said.

A dump truck and passenger car had collided, according to the report.

The car lost control, went under the dump truck, caught on fire and its two occupants were killed, according to WBAL, which reported the dump truck driver was not injured.

McCormick Road will be shut down between Beaver Dam and Road and Wight Avenue for several hours, police said after 10 p.m.
