Just when you thought the details of our federal government snooping on most parts of our lives couldn’t get any worse, along come this report, courtesy of CNET, that “The U.S. government has demanded that major Internet companies divulge users’ stored passwords, according to two industry sources familiar with these orders, which represent an escalation in surveillance techniques that has not previously been disclosed.”
I would expect that, if all the details of this report are true, there will be huge outrage on the part of the American people against all this continued and invasive surveillance of American citizens.
