Flavor Cupcakery To Open in Cockeysville

Flavor Cupcakery, which is based in Bel Air, is opening a in April.

"We have a lot of people that travel from Baltimore County to our Bel Air location," said Shelley Stannard, the bakery's owner.

Stannard said the menu at the Cockeysville location will be similar to the except that the new store will have more premade cakes available. She hopes to open the cupcake shop by April 17.

The Cockeysville branch of Flavor Cupcakery is under construction at the Scotts Corner Shopping Center on 10253 York Road.

Stannard added that there are currently no plans for a third location.

Flavor Cupcakery won $10,000 after on the Food Network show Cupcake Wars, which aired on December 2011.
