Hazmat Situation In Hunt Valley Reported

HUNT VALLEY, MD — Two people have been taken to area hospitals, and a community is sheltering in place after a chemical spill in Hunt Valley Wednesday morning, officials say.

The incident occurred in the 300 block of International Circle at 7:06 a.m., Baltimore County public safety officials said. Bleach spilled with another chemical in the laundry room of a retirement community, according to authorities.

The residents at the retirement community were sheltering in place, officials said before 9 a.m.
