Hunt Valley BP Closed for Up to Two Weeks

The will be closed for renovations after  on April 14. BP owner Dan Feeley said repairs may take up to two weeks.

Police arrested Wilmon Benson IV of Edina, MN after they said he attempted to break into a Timonium bar, sped on York Road, crashed into the gas station and ran to the Hunt Valley light rail station. Benson was charged with second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and other traffic charges.

Feeley said the gas pumps are intact but the store building sustained significant damage. The building's glass front was knocked out, and the front desk, cash register and coffee bar were destroyed.

Feeley does not yet have an estimate for the cost of the repairs but expects the figure will be well over $10,000.
