Cockeysville Man Killed In Cranbrook Parking Lot: Police
After a man was fatally shot in a Cockeysville parking lot, police said that the homicide did not appear to be random.

COCKEYSVILLE, MD — A man died after being shot in the parking lot of a shopping center in Cockeysville Wednesday night, according to police. Investigators think that the victim was targeted.
Colby Omar Woodward, 32, of the 800 block of Cinnamon Ridge Place in Cockeysville, was shot in the 500 block of Cranbrook Road, according to authorities.
Police said that officers found Woodward after they were called to a disturbance at the Cranbrook Shopping Center just before 11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Woodward had run inside the Quick Mart at the shopping center to get help after he was shot, police reported. He was pronounced deceased soon after Baltimore County Fire Department personnel arrived, officials said.
"Detectives do not believe that this is a random incident," police said in a statement Thursday, Oct. 3.
