McDaniel College names Joseph Menendez to Board of Trustees

Joseph Menendez, a 1981 alumnus of McDaniel College, was elected to the college's Board of Trustees.

Born in Cuba, Menendez immigrated to the United States and grew up in Miami, Fla. He majored in History at McDaniel and completed the U.S. Army Airborne Program.

Following graduation, he served as both part owner and vice president of operations for Jiffy Lube in eastern Massachusetts. He currently resides in Cockeysville, Md.

“The College has always had a special place in my heart and it is where I learned many of the values that I live by today,” said Menendez.
