North County Crime: Juvenile Attempts to Steal Neighbor's Van

Padonia Road, 100 block, between 7:30 p.m. Feb. 14 and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 15. A burglar tried to break into a hair studio by prying on the rear door. The attempt was unsuccessful.

Thornton Mill Road, 14500 block, between 3:30 p.m. Feb. 13 and 4 p.m. Feb. 14. A Honda ATV was stolen from the backyard of a residence.

Graystone Road, 18800 block, between 10 p.m. Feb. 14 and 4:17 a.m. Feb. 15. A juvenile burglar tried to steal a Dodge van from his neighbor's unlocked open garage. He was arrested and charged with second degree burglary.
