Padonia International Seeks Career Day Volunteers

The school is hosting its first ever Career Day on May 11.

is looking for volunteers to participate in its first ever Career Day.

The May 11 event, which will run from 8:40 a.m. to 11 a.m., would benefit Padonia's fifth grade students.

Presenters would speak to about 10 students for about 20 minute sessions, said Kara Roberts, a school counselor. You do not have to be a parent to participate.

The purpose of the event, Roberts said, is to share information about different career opportunities, educate students about how the present affects their future success and make connections between school and the work world.

Breakfast will be provided.
