Parkton Man Charged in Child Sexual Solicitation Case
Rahn Freeland is accused of sexually soliciting a Towson area minor through Facebook, according to Baltimore County police.

A Parkton man has been charged with sexual solicitation of a minor and an attempted sex offense, authorities said.
Rahn Freeland, 26, of the unit block of Foreston Valley Court in Parkton, is accused of messaging a 14-year-old girl from the Towson area on Facebook, according to a news release from the Baltimore County Police Department. Freeland allegedly told the minor he was only 20 years old, authorities said.

When the two met in February, the teenager realized he was older than he claimed to be and stopped responding to his messages, the release states. Freeland continued to contact her, and she notified her parents who in turn contacted the police on March 6 because they were concerned about the content in the messages, police said.
An undercover detective then began using the minor's account and contacted Freeland, according to the police press release. He allegedly solicited the detective for sex and was arrested on March 12 when he went to meet the girl for a sexual encounter, according to police.

Freeland allegedly used a Facebook page with the name "Rahn Corleone" to communicate with the minor, police said. Detectives said they suspect that he may have been in contact with other underage girls.
Freeland is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
