Paul's Place Hosts Breakfast Fundraiser

The nonprofit organization hopes to raise $100,000 to support its work.

Paul's Place, a nonprofit organization servicing low-income and homeless families in Southwest Baltimore, is hosting its first Breakfast Community Fundraiser on April 18. 

The event, which is free to attend, will run from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the , at 25 Shawan Road. 

Donations made will benefit various initiatives offered by Paul's Place such as outreach, education, vocational and wellness programs. In collaboration with Habitat for Humanity, the nonprofit has also provided safe housing for families in need.

Barbara Mason, director of development for Paul's Place, asks the community to remember that carrying out the mission of the nonprofit requires support. 

Mason added that representatives from Paul's Place will further detail the work done by the organization at the breakfast and donations will be collected after the presentation.

"We're asking [the community] to invest in the work we do here," Mason said. "We need $100,000 to support our work."

Jayne Miller, an investigative reporter for WBAL-TV, will emcee the event.
