More than 130 students from 14 BCPS high schools participated.

Baltimore County high school students gathered at Cockeysville Middle School for a day long event where they got a glimpse of the legislative process by simulating the United States Congress.

On Feb.25, the students debated and discussed contemporary issues, drafted their own legislation and learned about the legislative process at the Annual Loch Raven Model Congress. In committees, they tackled various topics including foreign relations, national security and education.
