More than 3,000 Baltimore County Public School students took part in the school system's annual Very Special Arts Festival at the Oregon Ridge Park.

The event was designed to "embrace and celebrate all students' abilities in the arts," according to the Office of Special Education. Many students who participated in the arts festival are in the special education program.

Activities included drum circles, dance performances and a petting zoo.
