Police Identify Suspects in Alpha Gold Exchange Robbery

The suspects are Luis Noel Rodriquez, 28, of New York City, and Vincent Henry Courts Jr., 28, of Harrisburg, PA. The two have  been charged with armed robbery, first-degree assault and use of a handgun in a felony crime, according to a police news release. Both men are being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $300,000 bail.

Two men entered Alpha Gold Exchange at about 1 p.m. Thursday in the 10800 block of York Road separately, police said. One man asked about jewelry and the other about jewelry repair.

One of the men pulled out a handgun and forced an employee and the employee's friend, who was visiting the store, to the ground, according to the press release. After tying the victims' hands, the robbers took money and jewelry and drove away in a gray 2011 Toyota Camry.

The vehicle crashed on McCormick Road and the suspects then fled on foot, police said. One was arrested in a parking lot off McCormick Road and the other at the Cockeysville police precinct parking lot.
