Rescue in Progress Near Prettyboy: Baltimore County Fire and EMS

PARKTON, MD — Firefighters are working to rescue someone stuck in a tree Friday night near the Prettyboy Reservoir, officials said.

After 6:30 p.m., crews were in the 18500 block of Prettyboy Dam Road where someone was about 25 feet above ground in a tree, according to EMS Lieutenant Tim Rostkowski.

First responders were conducting a high-angle rescue to get the person down, Rostkowsi said.
