Shore Leave 34 Scheduled for August

The annual convention draws about 1,500 science fiction fans to Hunt Valley.

, an annual science fiction convention, has planned its 34th gathering at the on Aug. 3-5.

The celebrity line up for the three day festival includes LeVar Burton from Star Trek: The Next Generation and Musetta Vander from Stargate, according to a news release from the Star Trek Association of Towson, which hosts the event.

Shore Leave 34 will also feature autograph sessions, fan panel discussions and a Saturday night dance party, the release states.
