Sparks Coffee Shop Expands Seating Area
The Filling Station has added new menu items as well as the extra seating.
An independent has expanded its seating area.
The owners of The Filling Station, who in September due to lease disagreements with their landlord, have been working to make improvements to the Sparks store to keep business up.

"It was important to me not to lay off my employees," Meg Enns, one of the owners, .
In addition to the increased seating, the coffee shop has expanded its menu to include more breakfast choices, traditional Mexican food and grilled panini sandwiches.

The Filling Station is also now hosting art galleries. The work of Baltimore artist Kelly Walker is currently on display.
