Principal Terrance Golden wore the outfit after students completed a challenge to make 750 sandwiches for the needy in Baltimore City.

Principal Terrance Golden made good on his end of a bargain to dress up as an elf for charity.
Golden challenged students at the Catholic private school to make 750 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to donate to Our Daily Bread, a program serving food to the needy in Baltimore City, according to a news release. The students in fact made 1,071 sandwiches and, as a result, he visited every classroom wearing an elf costume.
"Sometimes, all it takes is a little incentive to spur action," Golden said in the release. "It’s great to see the students working hard for others."
