Taking fitness to the extreme in 2015
21 Day Fix Extreme is here--are you ready to work hard to make some big changes?

I wanted to show you all some really good before-and-after photos of myself, but you know what? The “befores” are few and far between because for a few years now, I have not been in the picture (and when I am in the picture, I’m hiding behind somebody else or holding a kid). I’m always behind the camera--not just because my kids are always doing something funny, but because I have not wanted to be captured on film looking flabby. I know it’s dumb, but there you go.
Being in more pictures is something I promised myself I’d do this year, and every year going forward. It’s part of my “no more waiting” theme for 2015. I’m making a concerted effort to push myself out of my comfort zone and do brave things now, not later when I’m thinner. Some of the things have been simple, like mustering the courage to wear skinny jeans and leggings--once you wear comfy leggings out of the house, you never want to go back!
I’ve always wanted to try a more intense workout like more athletic people do all the time and it’s no big thing. I figured it was something I would do later, that mythical “someday” that I’ve been waiting for. Well, no more waiting. In February, I’ll be taking it a step further by stepping up the intensity with a new program called 21 Day Fix Extreme.
I’ve been doing the regular 21 Day Fix since October, and I have to say it felt extreme enough for a while! But you know what? After three months of daily workouts with it, I’m ready for something more. I’m much fitter now, and the old 21 Day Fix has helped me lay a foundation for a bigger, tougher workout. I’m now mentally ready for the challenge, and I’m physically ready, too. I’m holding steady at my current weight after losing some pounds and lots of inches, and I’m hoping that 21 Day Fix Extreme will help me push forward to bigger -- and, well, smaller!! -- things.
Who’s with me?
The 21 Day Fix Extreme is going to be a big deal. There are millions of people who have done the regular fix just like me who are ready to step it up. There are even more people who are in tip-top shape who love intense workouts like P90X and spinning classes who will want to try this, too. It launches on Monday, and for the moment, the only people who can get the program are those who have Beachbody coaches like me. If you are interested in giving it a try, message me and we’ll get the ball rolling. (If you are totally new to working out, try the original 21 Day Fix! I can help you with that as well.)
Join me for a fitness challenge group starting Feb. 16. Workout at home on your own time, when it’s convenient for you for less than the cost of gym membership. Learn how to eat the right foods in the right portions. Best of all, find tons of support and accountability using a secret Facebook group of like-minded challengers.
