Towson Athleta Now Has Sister Store

A new store is opening at The Mall in Columbia on Tuesday.

At 10 a.m., Athleta will open in the outdoor plaza, in the new section of stores where the L.L. Bean used to be.

Athleta specializes in women's active wear. It describes its designs as "sweet," "feminine" and "performance-driven."

The store in Columbia is Athleta's second in Maryland. The other location is in Towson, across the street from the Towson Town Center, at 834 Dulaney Valley Rd. The Towson store opened in May 2012.
