Vehicle Flips on I-83 Near Padonia Road

A vehicle was overturned in the median on Interstate 83 Tuesday morning.

A car flipped on Interstate 83 Tuesday morning, snarling traffic in the area of Padonia Road.

The single-vehicle crash happened before 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).

Two lanes were closed on I-83 south before the exit for Padonia Road, CHART reported after 8:30 a.m. The left shoulder was also closed in that area.

By 10 a.m., transportation officials said the crash had cleared.
