Vernon Road Bridge Replacement Could Begin in June
The project is expected to take two to three months to complete.

The Vernon Road bridge, located in White Hall, as early as June.
The replacement may take two to three months, according to the Baltimore County government website. The project is estimated to cost about $700,000.
"[The Vernon Road bridge] is in overall poor condition and beyond feasible rehabilitation," Kevin Sabolcik, a representative of the Baltimore County Department of Public Works, previously told Patch. "The substructure in particular has deteriorated to a serious condition. The bridge is classified as structurally deficient and is at the end of its service life."

Public works officials plan to build a two-lane bridge that is 20 feet wide and 29 feet long, spanning the Second Mine Branch. Sabolcik had also stated that the new structure should have a life span of 75 to 100 years.
Vernon road will be closed during repairs and traffic will be directed towards an alternate route, according to the department.
