York Road Closed For Water Main Break: SHA

BREAKING: More than a half-mile of York Road is closed to southbound traffic due to water main work, officials say.

COCKEYSVILLE, MD — A water main break has shut down a stretch of York Road in Cockeysville Thursday evening, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration.

Southbound York Road is closed between Wight Avenue and Cockeysville Road, highway officials said.

Authorities advised the closure was expected to last through the Thursday evening rush hour.
