• Cambridge library to temporarily close next year, Friends of the Library book sales postponed until further notice (wboc.com) — Hurlock residents will rely more on their local Dorchester County library branch when the Cambridge location closes for six to eight weeks starting January 2027 for major floor repairs. During that time, the Hurlock branch will keep regular weekday hours and its 24/7 book locker will remain available, though Friends of the Library book sales and donations are paused until the project is finished.
