• 1,328 undocumented immigrants arrested in Maryland, Virginia during 2-week ICE operation (ktvu.com) — Federal immigration officers recently arrested a man in Hyattsville during a two‑week ICE operation that led to more than 1,300 detentions across Maryland and Virginia. Officials say many of those detained had prior criminal charges or convictions, while immigration attorneys are questioning the tactics used in some arrests and alleging excessive force in at least one case.
